BREAKING: Cole Reynolds Expected to Prompose Friday During Expos

Junior Cole Reynolds is expected to prompose Friday, May 14th during Expos Class, according to some sources. Although the recipient is still unknown, sources say that Mr. Reynolds is likely to ask Mila Sirimongkolvit.

The move is undoubtedly last-minute, as the School’s prom is set for the following day. The tardiness, however, is consistent with Mr. Reynolds’ modus operandi, as he‘s developed a reputation as quite the procrastinator throughout high school.

There has been much speculation about the nature of Mr. Reynolds’ promposal, with predictions ranging from a spray-painted llama to a tennis-themed query. “I suggested the llama,” said Sienna Howard, an 8th grader at Montera Middle School in Oakland. Ms. Howard’s comments only fueled rumors about the pairing, as Ms. Sirimongkolvit and Mr. Reynolds taught her this spring (Mr. Reynolds declined to comment for the story).

It worked. The rumors were true. Ms. Sirimongkolvit and Mr. Reynolds will attend prom together on Saturday. Although there was no llama, the proposal included a tennis-themed sign — reading “will you be my doubles partner at prom?”— and donuts.
