Bay Area stages are gearing up for a packed fall season of concerts, with artists from various genres bringing their tours to local stages. Oakland and San Francisco will see indie, rap, pop, and many more genres coming to life this fall; no matter what you’re into, there’s a concert waiting for you.
The plethora of venues makes the concerts all the more appealing. Larger arenas, such as the Oakland Arena and Chase Center, will host the bigger acts, including Tame Impala’s two-night run and Billie Eilish’s two shows later that month. Smaller and mid-sized venues in the Bay Area, such as the UC Theatre, The Regency Ballroom, The Warfield, The Paramount Theatre, and The Masonic, will host artists including Xavier Wolf, Joey Bada$$, and Faye Webster. The balance between high-energy and smaller, intimate shows displays the variety of the Bay Area’s music scene.
Sophomore Daniella Greenberg is excited to see Tame Impala at the Oakland Coliseum this fall.
“I love his music, it’s super experimental and overall very unique. Seeing it live with my friends is going to be a great experience.”
Sophomore Izzy Kouakou-Zebouah is going to see Billie Eilish at The Chase Center.
“I love this venue because the energy is always so high, whether it’s at a concert or at a game,” she said. “I feel so lucky to live in The Bay because artists always perform really well here.”
With such a diverse lineup, upcoming concerts offer many nights of fun, energy, and lifelong memories. So get out of your house, buy those tickets, and, for one night, leave all your worries behind.
