Is your love language gifts, whether you’re giving or receiving? Either way, with the Holidays comes a time of gifts. Of course, the best gifts are always subjective, but here are a few ideas to spice up the season.
We all have that one friend who cannot stop talking about that new album they are absolutely obsessed with, so as a way to show some Holiday spirit, buy them some merch. If they are a Mariah Carrey fan, you can never go wrong with the new POP Funko bobblehead!
All of us love our parents, and what are parents best at? Embarrassing their kids. So, a way to mitigate fashion embarrassment (besides hiding ½ their closet) is buying them shoes. I mean, after all, shoes make or break outfits. So, you might as well ensure some fire fits with some extra “street cred.”
For most of us Californians, it has been awfully frigid recently. Personally, I do not like being cold or hearing people complain about it. My advice to stop the cold is to knit, crochet, or buy blankets, fuzzy socks, or beanies.
Do you know someone who is always late? I certainly do. Get them a planner or even a snazzy watch (I highly recommend a waterproof and slightly better brand than Rolex: TIMEX)
Personally, I think cards are underrated. They can be a big ordeal with hours of soul searching-description, or it can be a funny hallmark Happy Holidays with a moose in swim trunks drinking eggnog with a towel hanging from his antler. Either way, cards are always the move or at least a little add-on.
Laughs are contagious, just like the flu. In order to spend your Holiday season laughing until you cry, gift yourself a flu shot. Honestly, it’s a gift to the whole community. No need for snot balls when it’s snowball season.
Gifts shouldn’t feel forced. They are meant to make the other person happy. Spread cheer this season and give some gifts; remember they do not always need to cost money!
